1. HOW LONG WILL THE BROWNIES LAST?

Fat Witch Brownies will last 5-7 days in an unheated place. Do not put them near a source of heat, such as electronic equipment or a window. This will dry them out. You may put them in the refrigerator and they will last 7-21 days longer depending on how efficient your refrigerator is. You can put them in the freezer and they will last up to 3 months. We suggest putting them in zip-lock bags for the freezer. Some people like to eat them straight from the freezer without thawing.

2.ALLERGIES

We use only natural ingredients and take pride in the fact that we do not add preservatives. We are aware that some people are allergic to products and especially to nuts. We do keep walnuts and occasionally other nuts on the premises at all times. We use peanut butter from time to time. We do use some ingredients that are processed in plants that have peanuts on premises. And, we do understand that peanuts are a legume. We suggest that if you or the recipient is highly allergic, that you do not eat our Witches. As much as we hate to turn away business, we would rather have you safe than sorry.

3. CAN I MICROWAVE THE BROWNIES?

Yes, you can put them in the microwave in the cellophane or first removing the cellophane. Try 30 seconds or less at first. Microwave ovens vary in power and you don't want to melt the brownie!

SHIPPING QUESTIONS

1. WHAT IF THE PACKAGE DOESN'T ARRIVE?

If you provided an incorrect address or the package is refused by the recipient and the package is returned to us, you will be notified. We will not refund your money. If you want, we will provide new brownies at 1/2 price; however, you must pay the full price on shipment costs. If Fat Witch Bakery put an incorrect address on the package, we will either refund your costs or ship a new package at no charge to you.

2. WHAT IF MY PACKAGE IS TIME SENSITIVE?

It has to arrive on a specific date! The only method for us to "guarantee" an exact arrival date is to ship overnight by Federal Express. We can use Federal Express 2Day and 3Day service, but the package may arrive on or before the anticipated date. There will be an additional shipment cost.

3. HOW LONG DOES A PACKAGE TAKE TO ARRIVE?

We usually use US Post Office Priority Mail service. Shipment takes approximately 2-3 days, however, an exact arrival date is NOT guaranteed. Priority Mail often comes separately from regular mail and if the recipient is not home, a notice is left in the mailbox. We cannot track Priority Mail packages. We often use Federal Express 3-Day Service at no extra expense to you if the package is being shipping within the Northeast corridor, more than 3 pounds and is not going to a post office box. 4. WILL YOU USE FEDERAL EXPRESS?

Yes, we will use Federal Express upon request. Sometimes we use it within the Northeast corridor at the same cost to you as US Priority Mail. If you request Federal Express, there is usually an additional charge. We can track Federal Express packages. Click here for our shipping policy.

5. WILL YOU USE MY FEDERAL EXPRESS ACCOUNT?

Yes, we will use your Federal Express account. You will need to sign an agreement with Fat Witch Bakery, Inc. providing a guarantee to pay the charges.

6. MAY I REQUEST THE PACKAGE BE LEFT ON THE DOORSTEP?

Yes, with Priority Mail, we can write on the outer box "okay to leave." With Federal Express, we can sign a signature release. In either case, Fat Witch Bakery, Inc. assumes no responsibility if the package is not received by the intended party.

7. IS THE ARRIVAL DATE GUARANTEED?

Occasionally a package gets delayed because of weather or an unforeseen natural or un-natural occurrence. These are called "Acts of God". Fat Witch Bakery, the US Post Office and Federal Express cannot be held responsible for the delays.

8. WILL YOU SHIP TO PUERTO RICO AND THE US VIRGIN ISLANDS?

No, due to the heat factor, we are NOT able to ship to Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

9. WILL YOU SHIP TO US MILITARY BASES?

No, due to the heat factor and potential long delays, we are NOT able to ship to US Military bases. We apologize for this inconvenience, but past experience has proven that highly perishable items will not be edible upon arrival.

ORDERING

1. IF I WANT AN ORDER SHIPPED AT A FUTURE DATE, SHOULD I ORDER NOW?

YES! You should place your order as soon as you have all the information. Click here to see what information you need to give us.

2. HOW DO YOU PROCESS ORDERS?

We process orders as we receive them. The person/company who ordered first for a particular date, will have priority. We will not put your order ahead if we have been previously booked for that date. We honor our commitment to complete orders as promised. We believe that quality in product and honesty in service are important.

3. WHEN DO YOU RUN MY CREDIT CARD?

We run your credit card on the shipment date. If there are any problems, it is important that we be able to get in touch with you. Please enter your daytime phone number so this is possible.

4. HOW DO I PLACE MULTIPLE ORDERS?

Organize the address information first by date to be shipped and then by item wanted. We suggest you compile your list and fax it to us at 212-807-7993. If you fax your order, it is secure to include your credit card information.

5. WHAT ABOUT DECEMBER ORDERING?

December is the busiest time at Fat Witch Bakery. We suggest organizing your list and contacting us as early as possible. It is NEVER TOO EARLY to order. If you place your order in December, there often is a 10-14 day delay before we will be able to fill your order. We are working on other orders. We will, however, confirm your order with 24 hours. SPECIAL REQUESTS

1. MAY I REQUEST SPECIFIC BROWNIES IN A GIFT BOX/TIN?

Yes, you may "customize" your order. It often delays the order by a day or 2, but we are delighted to do it. We are not able to accommodate these requests during the month of December. If you order from our website, you may write in the specific brownies and amounts you would like in the "comment" section. Not all of our gift packaging will accommodate all configurations. You may also call us with your specific requests 888-419-4824.

2. WILL YOU PUT MY GIFT CARD OR BUSINESS CARD ON A GIFT BOX/TIN?

Yes, we'd be delighted to put your card on the package. We can also keep your business cards on file and you can tell us when you order to include it. Your card should be at Fat Witch Bakery, 75 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10011 at least 2 days before ship date. We try to accommodate special requests for raffia colors.

3. WILL YOU USE A GIFT BOX IF I PROVIDE IT?

Yes, we will try to accommodate your packaging. If you would like us to use your gift box, it should be at Fat Witch Bakery, 75 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10011 at least 2 days before ship date. We cannot accept orders for unusual gift boxes during the month of December. If you would like us to use your packaging, we must have your order with all information and packaging by November 15th.

4. WILL YOU INCLUDE SPECIAL ITEMS OR DO A GIFT BASKET?

Occasionally we get a request for a gift basket. If it is possible for us to put together a gift basket for you, we will do so. We cannot do gift baskets during the month of December under any circumstance.
