Fat Witch Bakery Shipping Policy /Information

Federal Express | US Post Office Priority Mail

If your package is time sensitive, we suggest using Federal Express. . 2 or 3 Day FedEx service will arrive on or before 2 days from the ship date. For example, if a package is shipping 2Day FedEx on Monday, it will arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. Please note that the only way of guaranteeing an exact date of arrival is to ship overnight.
The package will have a tracking number and a delivery time on or (see below)

before 10:30AM for Priority Overnight(remote location before 4:30PM)(you must call us directly for this service; it is not available on our website)

before 4:30PM for Standard Overnight (business)

before 7:00PM for Standard Overnight (residence)

before 4:30PM for 2 Day (business)

before 7:00PM for 2 Day (residence)

before 4:30PM for 3 Day (business)

before 7:00PM for 3 Day (residence)

If you wish the package to be left by Federal Express, you can check the box NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED when you order online from www.fatwitch.com. The box is at the end of SHIPPING METHOD section.

You can check the box for TRACKING INFO REQUESTED when you order online from www.fatwitch.com. The box will be at the end of the order in the PAYMENT section.

It is necessary to have a telephone number for all Federal Express shipments. For office and business shipments, it is necessary to have a floor number. Failure to supply this information delays delivery of the package and will incur additional charges.

Federal Express delivers Monday through Friday. For some locations, Saturday delivery is available at an additional cost.

Federal Express will not ship food internationally.

Federal Express cannot ship to US Post Office boxes.

Fat Witch Bakery is committed to sending the best and freshest brownies. However, we cannot accept responsibility for delays due to Acts of God. We cannot accept responsibility if given incomplete or incorrect delivery information. If additional Federal Express charges result from the above, we reserve the right to pass along the charges to the ordering customer.

Federal Express will attempt to deliver the package up to 3 times. On the third attempt, a notice will be left for the recipient to pick up the package at the Federal Express station. If the package is not picked up in a timely manner, we will instruct Federal Express to destroy the perishable package. The ordering customer will be charged even if the package has not been picked up. Occasionally an intended recipient refuses to accept a package. The ordering customer will be charged if the package is refused by the recipient.

It is at the discretion of the Federal Express employee to determine if it seems safe to leave the package even if the address label has no signature required. We will only put this label on the package if you have instructed Fat Witch Bakery no signature required. Many recipients sign an agreement with Federal Express to leave all packages addressed to them without a signature. Fat Witch Bakery is not responsible for a signature or the package if the recipient has established this agreement with Federal Express.

Fat Witch Bakery cannot accept responsibility if we have been given incomplete or incorrect information. If the package is returned for incomplete or incorrect address information, or if the package is refused by the recipient, the ordering customer will be charged, regardless. Fat Witch Bakery will not issue a refund.

US Post Office Priority Mail (this is our standard shipping service)

Fat Witch Bakery ships most packages by US Post Office Priority Mail service. It usually arrives 2-3 days after shipment, separately from other mail. While we have found this service to be efficient and cost effective, we cannot guarantee an exact arrival date.

The US Post Office usually makes deliveries between 8:30AM and 6PM.

Depending on the recipient's individual residence or the building's agreement (they vary) with the US Post Office, the mail people may leave the package or leave a notice if no one is available to accept the package. It is at the discretion of the postal employee to determine if it seems safe to leave the package even if we have put a label on the package "okay to leave". We will only put this label on the package if you have instructed Fat Witch Bakery no signature required.

Priority Mail must be used for delivery to post office boxes.
